Economic Calendar: 23-27 January

The economic calendar will be focussed on data like Service PMIs, CPI and GDP this week. But, investors are still digesting the fact that the Trump presidency is real now. There was a last-ditch attempt to stop Trump winning over the White House, which was unsuccessful. It’s now reality, Trump is the 45th President of the United States.  However, there were no massive moves in the markets post Trump’s inauguration. Trump had the weekend off to celebrate his new life and apparently so did the markets. Today is the first business day with Trump in office, the first hundred days of Trump’s presidency has kicked-off. But what’s next? No one knows…

In ‘Brexit land’ things are getting real; the final chapter of the Brexit book will be known tomorrow. The supreme court will announce its judgement on the on-going Brexit Battles on January 24. Are you worried about the consequences of the UK leaving the single markets or how Trump’s far-fetched economic plans will affect your daily FX transactions? Our professional traders at Indigo FX will guide you in the right direction to help protect your businesses bottom-line and enhance your margins.
